Grilled Caesar Salad

Here is a different kind of Caesar salad for you to try at home: Grilled Caesar Salad. Our chefs are happy to share this recipe with you.

Grilled Caesar Salad (table side service):

  • 8 oz Romaine lettuce (cut in half lengthwise)
  • 1 Egg yolk
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 1 oz Lime juice
  • Dash of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Anchovy fillet
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 2 oz Parmesan cheese
  • 2 oz Cherry tomato sliced
  • 2 oz Croutons
  • Salt/pepper to taste

Direction: Drizzle lettuce with olive oil, grill quickly, (grill should be hot); then chop and set aside. Use two forks to mash garlic clove. Add egg yolk. Whisk oil gradually while adding lime juice. Toss the rest of ingredients. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add lettuce and serve with your choice of meat.
