Tomorrow, September 1, 2016, we will launch our new menu and Flame Grilled Pork Chops with Guava BBQ sauce will be on it. Tonight we will show you how to make this one for yourself but, we also give you the option of coming to have our chefs prepare it for you.
Flame Grilled Pork Chops with Guava BBQ Sauce:
- 2 french cut pork chops (1/2” thick)
- 4 oz guava nectar
- 1oz fresh ginger (grated)
- 1oz bbq sauce
- 1oz panela
- Pich instant coffee/brown gravy mix
- Dash of olive oil
- Garlic/Salt/pepper to taste
Method: Season pork chops with garlic, salt and pepper. In a frying pan with oil, pan fry the pork chops at medium heat for 5 mins on each side. Remove the pork chops from the pan.
In the same frying pan add guava nectar, ginger, bbq sauce, and panela. Simmer for 2 mins at low heat. Add coffee/brown gravy mix, and cook for 3 mins to create a sauce. Top the pork chops with the guava sauce, and serve with rice and beans and vegetable medley.
