Ingredients:
- 1 – 8 oz. un-cooked yellow rice
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 4 – 1/2 inches thick pork chops
- 1- 3 oz. seasoned coating mix for pork
- 1 1/4 cups green sweet pea
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 1/4 cups chopped onion
- 1 cup frozen chopped onion
- 1 cup fresh cilantro leaves
- 2 firm ripe bananas, peel thinly sliced
- 2 chopped green chilies
- 1 – 1oz jar roasted bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 tsp curry powder
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/4 tsp dried shredded orange peel
- 1/3 cup orange juice
Preparation steps:
- Pan Fry the pork chops and cook vegetables. Place on top of pork chop
- cook onions, cilantro and banana, cook 3 minutes
- Spoon rice into plates, top each with pork chops and banana mixture
- cook peas and stir into rice
